Artist's Description
All my life I have thought of these tall wild flowers with brown tufts as a sort of thistle. Well turns out I was wrong. It is a different variety of field plant. These wonderful dried flowers are called "Teasels".
Now when I look into a field or pasture and see these lovely autumn plants I will have to remember they are teasels and calling them anything else.... well.... Thistle Never Do.
