Artist's Description
The trains forging through the mountains are an awe inspiring sight. When I came to Ontario from BC I traveled the train and so I have seen from both sides of the window. As beautiful as it is to see the long trains winding around mountain ranges, it is even more thrilling to see the front end of your train across the river from you as you sit in the back of the train. Since that last spike in 1885 the trains have been a major part of the landscape. Let's hope they remain the same for the next century and beyond.
