As enjoyable as it is to create mandalas, naming them can be a practice in frustration because... well for me anyways, titling an image is all about what the image in question represents to me. Normally that works out quite well but when the image has no other meaning than a pleasantly relaxing time in creating what can one title it that isn't repetitious? After all, image creation 101 declares that no two images should have the same title.
So as much as I would love to call all my mandalas "It's A Zen Thing" I try to avoid anything like it so what I do is step back and look at the finished mandala and see what pops out to me. In this case the deep, dark red flower was my original eye catcher and the large circle mimicking the center looks like something that would come out of my husband's tool box. I think they are called washers but I like the name Sprockets better. Thus Flowery Sprockets!
