Artist's Description
Created from a photo of a pair of donkey's in the Nevada desert. They are not native to the area but after the gold rush the miners went home and left their pack mules behind to run wild. In decades since they have grown in numbers and are magnificent creatures to spot. Of course the local residents see them as more of a pest but then I have the same issue with those so-called cute squirrels running around my yard and destroying everything in their path so I empathize with them.
