A garden staple for everyone is the lovely Clematis. There are so many varieties and colors that bloom at different periods throughout the season. It is hard to claim any one as a favorite. I have combated this indecision by planting two very different varieties side by side so that they grow and interweave with each other. The bees and butterflies don't mind t all and I get to enjoy them no matter which one is more prominent.

You never know. I might add a third variety one day. I have been toying with the idea for a couple of years now. Maybe this will be the year.
