Sunrises are beautiful to watch with their bright colorful hues but to me the real sight worth waking up in the inky hours for is the dawn. That moment when the darkness departs and the sun is starting to make a slight appearance on the horizon. It is the departure of night and the arrival of day.
The world around you arises while you get a front row seat to the event. Be careful though. This is the time that is fleeting and as marvelous a view as it is you can only relish in it for a moment and then it is gone. The sun rises and you come to the realization that you have just witness the birth of a new day and because of that you want to enjoy every second the day has to offer.
