This was taken from a photo of a musician taking a break from his restaurant gig. I found him leaning against a post absorbed in his music and trumpet as we took a shortcut through a back way at the harborfront in Toronto. He impressed me very much as a man who loves his craft. As for the Miles Davis quote.... another Trumpeter who loved his craft.
