Description

Seriously, that is the name of these beautiful lilies. The "Black Beauty" part of the name refers to their dark color and the "Recurved" part obviously refers to the shape. These lilies grow in a bush-like form and the masses of flowers all point down as the petals curve upward and in. The stamen hang low and I expect these are a favorite for the birds and insects who search for nectar. For me, they just grab my eye and make me smile at their unique beauty.
